 Morning Classes Will Begin Wednesday, August 18 and Thursday, August 19
Scotty, a much-loved yoga instructor from our Solano Avenue location, returns in August to teach again at WDC. He teaches a class that offers basics for beginners and challenges for intermediate/advanced students -- a balance ideal for all levels. Join us in August and start your day off right!

 Get Ready to Dance Down Solano Avenue on Sunday, September 12
Save the date and register early! The Berkeley/Albany Solano Stroll and Parade will take place in less than two months -- Sunday, September 12 to be exact. Advance registration is only $10 (rent a costume for an additional $10). We'll have more information in August. Come to classes (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays) and dance and enjoy! You can also do freestyle in the parade. So, save the date and get ready to have fun!

Enjoy WDC's African Dance Classes Twice A Week;
Saturday's Class Now 90 Minutes Long
WDC offers two amazing dance classes -- one on Saturdays (now 90 minutes in length) and one on Tuesdays (75 minutes in length). Both classes feature live drumming (please bring tip money for the musicians). So, get ready to experience the joy and exuberance of West African Dance! 
Discover, experience and learn the varied dances, music, songs And rhythms
of Guinea and West Africa from Naby Bangoura, a highly respected and charismatic Bay Area performer and instructor!
This class will fill you with joy!

 We invite and encourage all children to attend the Thursday Children's Percussion class with Lucas. Understanding the rhythms and beats of Brasilan music helps young dancers and musicians better understand the culture of Brasil. This class takes place every Thursday from 5:00 - 6:00pm. |

 Andreina Teaches Zumba Workouts on Saturday
Zumba, the latin-inspired, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning, feel-it-to-the-core fitness-party, rocks the 1:00pm class slot on Saturdays at WDC. An energetic dance workout, it combines Latin rhythms with unique moves.
Andreina Febres, a certified Zumba instructor, will teach this all levels, all ages workout. "Zumba is based on the principles that a workout should be easy to follow and as fun as a good party," explains Andreina.
Students who come to 10 Saturday workouts earn Zumba gear. So, come and join the fun!
