In this class, very young dancers learn to express themselves with basic body movments and imagination. They learn to listen and interpret music with the body and develop rhythm, individual confidence and connection with fellow dancers.
Explore the basic rhythms of Brasilian percussion in a fun, age appropriate style. Youth students learn core beats in Brasilian samba and afro samba (Maracatu, Ijexa, samba de roda, etc.) using various instruments (congo, surdo, agogo, panderiro, triangle, etc.).
Discover the fun of Brasilian dance! This class teaches young dancers the moves and music of both traditional and modern Brasilian dance. They learn the importance of warming up and stretching, basic dance positions and postures and simple to complex choreography. Class is ongoing.
Learn the basic moves of Brasilian dance from an experienced dancer/performer. Geared towards beginners (intermediate and advanced students are also welcome). Come discover Brasil!

The dance/workout portion moves you all over the floor. Taught by Rodson, a professional dancer direct from Brasil. A great way to start your day!
