CAMP ERE-A Brazilian Cultural Immersion Camp

At Camp Erê direct, hands on experiences with Brazilian artforms are designed to energize the spirit of each child. Every camper will participate in a variety of activities that will spark their sense of discovery, creativity, and wonder.


The daily program includes the following activities:
  • Folkloric and contemporary dance.

  • Capoeira..

  • Drumming and instrument making.

  • Costume making.

  • Storytelling and visual arts.

  • Performance.


    Camp Erê offers 3 weekly sessions for 6-13 year olds, each with a specific theme that orients daily activities to a region of Brazil.
    Week four is specifically designed for teens 14-19 years old.*

    June 16-20 Bahia: Roots of Samba

    June 23-27 Rio: The Magical World of Carnaval

    July 7-11 Pernambuco: Acrobatics & Royalty

    July 14-18 Brazilian Beats: Samba to Hip Hop ( teens 14-19 yrs)
