Moving Together with Rossana Alves

Presented the first Sunday of each month and Fridays in May and June, Moving Together offers children and parents/guardians time to dance and play together. Rossana Alves teaches creative dance classes throughout the Bay Area. Join her and celebrate the joy of life!

Creative Movement
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30-4:15pm with Nadia
Creative Movement is where we create and move - it is learning through doing and enjoying through moving. We explore ideas and feelings by using our bodies to express. We learn through repetition and conceptual thinking, but most importantly, we play and have fun along the way! Parental involvement is welcome and encouraged in this warm environment of movement and play - come learn with and about your children! Fridays, 3:15-4:00pm with Deborah (Please check back for Fall 2013 Session)
Creative Movement for children ages 3-5 will engage the imagination and the body in a playful, nurturing and developmentally supportive dance class. Through the use of song, directed movement games and verbal prompts, young dancers will participate in a dance experience that explores the foundational elements of space, time and energy while building confidence, movement vocabulary and creative choice-making. ~ Deborah Karp, Creative Movement Instructor
